Thread: warfighters

  1. Battlefield Technologies is a new manufacturer???
    Web site? any more info?
    thank's

  2. I just typed the name as a url and got this

    http://www.battlefieldtechnologies.com/

Apparently Battlefield Technologies = Action Tag

edit: Just looked at the tagger - nearly IDENTICAL to the Adventure Sports guns. Amazing.

The OLT world is getting crowded fast. I've recently been contacted by 3 more companies that want to use MilesTag electronics/PCBs to start their own line of retail OLT guns. So you can see why the "open source" is closing up a little.

  3. Looks like they are all at it!
During the past few months I have been approached by countless overnight manufactures that are producing laser-tag gear. I also met with the Bat-tech boys to see if their products were comparable with ours. I’m happy to say that’s not. We have 100% wireless (PAN and MESH Networks). Our R&D crew work with the military, so as you can imagine the equipment is very Milspec. I guess until now no one has had the capital or resources to put into a project like this. I hope it’s raised the bar for new market entrants.

However it’s light year ahead the crowd, so I would recommend them if you are planning on starting up a Stand Alone Field.

Warfighters is due to be re branded, image and structure from the ground up. Our co branding with Ubisoft has grown from strength to strength.
Our AEG-IWS system is not for resale and they will only be available to those who partner with us and Ubisoft. We intend to deliver a game that is based on the computer console market, with some great multimedia elements thrown in. We have plans to facilitate our fields with the new systems, then we are releasing a cheap Laser-Tag platform based on a MP7, the guns will be able to learn and mimic the BFS and Steradian frequencies so current field owners will no longer have to buy from them.

Warfighters is not a laser-tag operation. We had a raw deal from the S7’s that we started with, they breakdown all the time, the build quality is rubbish and the slightest drop or rain and they fizz out. Flooding the market with cheap gear is our way of saying thank you to them.

Also our Tagger should retail for under £199.00

Also we have a guy wanting to join us called Jason Wragg, former BFS, anyone want to be a character judge before we hit Oz with Warfighters?

  4. The only bad news is it's very unlikely that we could use those wepions here in aus due to the realistic look. If i'm wrong plz tell me though!

  5. Well the good news is that you are wrong. There are ways to get round it, and all legal. Our man from Oz is on the case. Keep an eye open for late 2007. You may just be attending some cool Warfighters games.

  6. one word: Sweet

  7. Warfighters UK

Earlier post we listed under LaserWar, we re-branded our image to Warfighters (Ghost Recon Advance Warfighters) to complement our partner Ubisoft.

Just to re-ignite this old thread we have now completed our first production of realistic taggers.
We have been running test games over the past four months and are now more than happy with the results.

If any of our community have any operational questions please feel free to list them here and I will do my best to answer them.
We feel at Warfighters that the bar has been raised with this technological advancement within our sport, if you truly love tagging for Milsim games you are gona love the features of these rifles.

  8. Sex Machine AR15/AEG-IWS

We just got these in. AR15 plus mods. Full Metal body.
1.5kg in weight and just under 87cm in length.

We tested this one on Sunday and cranked up 600ft on 75% power.
MK249 to follow very shortly. update to follow.

  9. More Toys for Big boys

    Just added to our range..

MK249, .50cal on the way, plus a Smart new Claymore IR System

  10. Don't get me wrong the guns look pretty damn good. Almost good enough to fly to where ever they are just to play. But they just look like someone is gonna get 2 in the chest from a cop or someone. I can't imagine they would be legal, not in Australia anyway. Whenever you start putting suppressors on the end of barrels, they're startin to look a little to serious. Are they gonna have red plugs in the barrel? or a way of letting people know they don't fire real rounds? Imagine it this way, someone playing away in a school or a public area, and a nervous cop gets called out for a supicious person call at the area, and someone came round a building yelling and pointing a weapon with a silencer in the officers face. Just imagine the consequences, maybe the cop doesn't shoot him, maybe.

I'm not downing your product, but safety goes further than making sure theres no electrical problems and sharp edges. The guns look good though.

Do you guys have a webpage setup yet?
