08/17 09:13 Hey, I was wondering if you can provide me with a datasheet for the following products...

SKU: 4669
SKU: 2399

For the most part I need specifications for the output such as Angle of half intensity etc...

Thanks,
Steven

08/21 11:52 Has there been any progress checking with the factory?
Alex

08/21 12:08 Yes, the factory didn't want to pass that information to us, saying they are protecting their business secret.

08/21 12:12 A standard product datasheet should have all the information I require. Its not exactly trade secret stuff, its all standard product information, as critical as lead spacing or housing dimensions...

08/21 12:18 Hi Steven,

I understand, and tried hard to suggest the manufacturer, and they understand too. But you know what, they are saying, if we got the information and posted it on the site, then everybody know's the secret, then someone will copy that.

Sigh. I will push them for this.

Alex

08/21 12:23 Thanks Alex, its much appreciated, as Im already after buying 100 of 2399 and 10 of 4669. Failing the datasheet, Im gonna have to do hours of test and measurement on the little buggers in order to determine the values that I need...

08/21 13:53 Hi Steven,

I am sorry for this, so for next time, if you are buying the 100 pieces that much, please contact me, though can not offer you the datasheet, I can offer you some lower price, right?

Regards,

Alex

WFT? I manufacturer that won't offer a datasheet because it gives away trade secrets? Lol, stick with the real manufacturers like Vishay.
