i have a ps2 and a gamecube but im thinking of trading them both in for an x-box?
what you guyz think?
I think you must not have many games that you play on a regular basis. If all you want is Halo and other x-box specific games, then go for it. If all you want is slightly better graphics, then go for it. But if you think you'll be in some kind of magical world of better games and more selection, think again.

well i have some games but nothing really good i still haventg found a great playstation game i cant get on pc or x-box but i found x-box games that i cant get on pc or playstation
depends on what you like, I guess. there are exclusives for every platform. If the xbox exclusives ring your bell, then there's little reason not to switch.

I have both Xbox and PS2 - why? Because I wanted transformers on the PS2!
Anyways I play them both and my mates enjoy using both systems (I rarely play by myself), so I'd say keep your current ones and just buy an xbox. Also, why trade them in? You won't get much back for them. I could work for a couple of days easy and get enough money to buy and xbox and some games.
Transformers! Yeah! :)
Hit my web site (www.ggaub.com/tf) and you'll see how much of a nut I am for TFs. :)
There are lots of great games on all systems. Personally, I sort of enjoy the limitation of one system (PS2) rather than having more than one, or even all of them. I have a hard enough time not buying games that look interesting when they're marked way down. Just today I picked up Malice, Maximo, and Treasure Planet from GameSpot for about $20 all told (buy 2 get 1 free :). If I had other systems, I'd be buying even more games than I should. ;-) I never feel like I'm missing out, or not getting a good selection.

Time to do some paper deliveries I think unit_00...
Flux, top stuff mate! I've got to so collect the rest of the transformers episodes. I've so far only got the movie. The other good stuff I've got is some old transformers before they brought out the toyish plastic stuff. I can't wait till they are like collectables, as it would be so worth keeping them all these years and not binning them.
Yeah, Unit, time to go earn some money the old fashioned way.
Also, I'm thinking any place that takes a PS2, a Gamecube, AND $50 just to give you an X-box is ripping you off, no matter what currency is the basis for the transaction. For that kind of dish, it had better be a brand, freaking new one, and not some refurb or used one.
Colin, Definitely get the eps on DVD. You sound old school, so you might not like the Beast Wars shows, but they have some of the strongest story telling and kick-ass animation (CGI). The entire series of that is on DVD now, too. Don't bother with Armada, though. It's bunk. As for the toys, like anything, it all depends on condition and completeness. I love mine so much that I have no plans of ever selling them. I sold a bunch several years ago, and I've regretted it ever since. ;-)

Yeah, i used to love the show when i was a youngen! The other ones, particularly beast wars were ok, but they just didn't do it as much as the originals did. I'll try and track down some beast wars as well I think... I do remember it being one of the better ones...

As for playstation and game cube... meh, never liked them.

I like the original Playstation because it whooped my N64's butt and it had Tekken 2! That game rocked! Did any of you play Bushido Blade on PS? That was the MOST realistic fighting game of its time. If you got a head shot with your katana... lights out! If you got cut in the leg... you were limping or had to kneel. If you arm took a hit... it would just hang limp and bleeding. I loved that game!
Bushido Blade had some great weapons. My martial Arts instructor and I used to carve each other up playing it on PS1.
Somewhere around here, buried under a layer of dust is a Commodore VIC20. Does anyone remember those? I think it was the very first home computer Commodore released. I bought it new for seventy bucks in about 1983. Not much more than a oversized calculator. Had one game for it that was a rip-off of Pacman.

Ah yes, the good old Vic 20. Its big brother the Commodore 64 was the one that really upped the gaming scene, with some great stuff.
I had a Dick Smith VZ200 myself, with a mighty 4kbytes of ram and a cassete drive
Haven't played that Blade game, but Tekken 3 rocks. :p
