Clan War - April 18th - Announcement

We are going to run another clan war April 18th, 2004

Start: 8.00am
Finish: 11.30pm
Venue: Karingal
Rounds: 2
Mission Length: 45 minutes
VP - 100VP per uncontested control of victory area at the 15min, 25min, 35min and 45min
VP - 50VP per contested control of victory area at the 15min, 25min, 35min and 45min
VP - 100VP if no replacements taken
Deployment: staggered start from armory every 2 minutes, order randomly determined. Team must be clear of armoury area within 2 minutes to be outside Morita range else they will be shot at by armoury.
Entry Fee: $100 per team
Weapons Maximum (this may change): 2 x Morita, 2 x Pulse, 2 x Commando (if available), unlimited other weapons.
HP: 3.
Replacements. Available for each clan once per mission from any mission director specified LZ. 100% replacements, must be taken at once.

The tourny is open to any clan from any field who wants to come join the fun

Regarding the Referees Zev va, I expect it will be Gold Fish, Liz and me (Plan).

The clan war is an open event, so any team from any field.

After this I would like as our next elite level event to operate a Brisbane team versus a Gold Coast team probably on a home and away basis.

Resurected GIR (Fatty, Foo, Whippy....) hope so anyway!
Maybe a Gold Coast Clan?

Yeah, we are hoping to be there... Priest will be joining us, and since the P90 classes as a commando, he'll be owning with that... Foo will have a morita (as if any other gun looks right in his hands)... Since I'm not allowed to use the shotgun (boo hiss) I guess I'll have to use a commando or morita too, or even a ml 2 beserker (you know what I'm talkin about bragg :)) The other spots are in a state of flux atm, but yeah, we hope to be there, and remind a few people of a time when everyone thought we cheated all the time just because we won :)

HAW has decided not to contest this tournament.

Due to the incredible difference in skill level we have decided to allow some other teams to slug it out for the title in the hope that come the next tourney we will actually have some worthy opponents.

Mate that is a huge dissapointment i think you guys should reconsider! The more the merrier and people only gain experience through practice.

To the Brisbane guys, i expect for someone to take some pics and post them on here with a bit of a reveiw, i can tell you now that i will be anxious to hear about it! Thanks.

Rommel dont know what your talking bout, UWAT are playing with out me which improves there chances greatly as seem to be the weakest link of late.

AJ is right i voultnered to play for a clan with 4 youngs gurls as they were short so erm no i dont think i'll be winning anything, im just there to have fun.

Keep an eye out for our quiet achievers from the Gold Coast. We are there to make an impact...of course the impact could well be us falling flat on our face but we'll give it a go!
After this tourny we would like to see a Brisbane team made up of the best of the best of the best battle against our...er... best of the etc. etc.
I suggest 1 game in Brisbane, 1 game on Gold Coast and final game wherever has the most points...anyone interested??

I want to arrange a home and way series two with the Gold Coast field/Brisbane. Gecko and Plan will go to work on this next week as long as there is plenty of interest from the players. I'm thinking 10 per side at this stage would be good. People thoughts on missions would be handy.

Oh one more thing on April 18th. The double or even triple session special applies to clan war players. If you played in the clan war in the morning, you are entitled to play the other sessions (beginners if your not yet an elite player) and the open on the same day for just $10 per person per session more. So you could play from 8.30am to 5.30pm for $40 each :)

My left arm was dead.. It was all weird and fuzzy for about 5mins seeing i had to lie on it and look at the ground so the mozzies and flys wouldent get on my face. Then somewhat all hell broke loose when our two calns fired at each other :D

It was a heap of fun - especially the first mission. Naturally, we are pleased with the win and appreciate the help we got to get there! Although I'd like the chance to kill our alliance friends soon too! Just can't get enough!

The challenge is Brisbane is some of our best players are also staff so its hard for them to compete especially on the away game.
