Hey everyone, i'm not yet online on my own computer, it won't arrive for approximately 2 weeks.. so i am using the buisness centres computer in my hotel that i am staying at while i wait for our house to be finished being made - should move in thursday.

It is interesting over here, although i have been here once before, you never stop learning things, everything is so different to what i'm used to in australia.

When you are driving around and the road gets congested with traffic to the point where you are stopping and moving foward about 3 feet every thirty seconds or when you are simply stopped at a traffic light you get street vendors walking through between the cars trying to seel anything between bottled water and an atlas of the world, it is amazing.

And the bus drivers are so crazy, they hog the road - bigtime! And everyone thinks they are a traffic controller, just give em a whistle and they will direct traffic... when i post some pictures i've been taking in a week or two (once i have access to my own computer and the web) you will understand what i mean)

I hear that there was a large storm on friday over in brissy? still hot over there?

It is about 31 degrees here, cloudy and very humid.

Anyway i'm going shopping today, and i saw some of those 'girls' with adams apples last night - scary.

Laters!

That storm that passed through here was extremely bad. There are trees knocked down all over the place. And my place didn't have power for 38 hrs. It was just like being in a 3rd world country, just like indonesia. LOL

It is stinking hot here at the moment. 4 more days and I'm out of the country to.

Hey AJ,
Lap it all up while you're there- the good, the bad and the ugly (adam's apple). You're so lucky (especiallly at your age) to be in another country to embark on a new and exciting adventure, best of all, you get to play laserskirmish!
As for you Rommel, shut-up, you haven't left yet *LOL

you might get the flu virus thingo that the birds have, it is very much an active problem in thailand, more so than in indonesia here... :p

What was it like playing on sunday without my presence?... :(

Funny thing to mention, they have a lot of security over here at the moment, paticulary around important buildings or significant things around the city, and because the hotel i am staying in is owned by megawhati sacarnoputri (indonesian president) there is naturally tones of gaurds and whatever around the place, some of them carrying some type of portable machine gun!!!

the funny part is the fact that i wonder if they know how to use it if some crazy terrorist ever tried to make an attack against the hotel? ;) :p :/

Anyway i start school next monday, bit of a worry cause' it is a british school (scary) hahaha jokes, all is good.

can't wait to come back to australia, even though it is nice over here... see you all soon.

On a side note, RearEchelon.com will open soon enough so hold onto your mouses!

64 million people in thailand and 12 dead. I think that there is a very slim chance of me catching it.

Pommie school, HAHAHA you are going to have to call your teachers sir and madam.

www.brigade3234.com (Should be the right url from memory)

- we are in the process of talks with that paintball field's owner and the possibility of a partenrship in a co run and located laserskirmish battlefield is just around the corner, it is one of the better paintball fields in jakarta, permanently located open every day bar monday i believe and is popular with the expats so if we can get the deal going it would be very good indeed.

Only problem is convincing them why laserskirmish weapons are worth spending 10's of thousands of dollers on when the person has never had the opportunity to experience them firsthand.

I will let you know via email (plan) the progress as i go.
